One Step To Life had the pleasure of collaborating with a North Lima Church to reach out to inner city residents. 

Common Ground Community Church, as well as One Step To Life wants to help better the lives of Valley residents, so they started Goodness Grows, which focuses on urban agriculture.

They helped kids on Youngstown's south side grow their own produce. Glen Williams, One Step to Life said, "They was more happy because they was doing something positive. They seen how it was cultivating and coming up. They was happy."

The Rescue Mission is also teaming up with Goodness Grows to cultivate almost 2 acres on the south side.
