One Step To Life had a dream since its existence was brought to the streets of Youngstown.  OSTL's dream was to encourage the YOUTH to work together as a whole.

We as adults must continue to find ways in our community to provide a positive outlet for the youth of today. We cannot continue to neglect the duties of ourselves for our children.

One Step To Life was blessed with the means to provide at least 4 neighborhoods in Youngstown with a basketball hoop. 

This movement is far from over, we are gathering people from all sides of town, from all walks of life and we will challenge anyone that is willing to make change happen.  By encouraging the adults and the youth, we will be empowering the city.  We have to step out on faith.  We need not to fight alone no more, a family that prays together, stays together and we are a family today. 

The daily routine is as follows, “One Day At A Time”.  Rome was not built in one day.  So, lets not think that the problems that we are having will just go away, we have to take the initiative and coming together one block at a time.  We have to allow the light to shine on every house, every person and every yard.  Not one person can reap the benefits of what’s being done in Youngstown.
